An Australian Business Number (ABN) is a unique 11-digit number that identifies your business to the government and community.

It is important to remember that an ABN doesn’t replace your tax file number but is used for various tax and other business purposes.

An ABN allows you to confirm your business identity to others when ordering and invoicing, avoid PAYG tax on payments you receive, claim GST credits, claim energy grant credits and obtain an Australian domain name.

To be eligible for an ABN you need to be carrying on an enterprise.

You can apply for an ABN online or you can give us a call on 9974 8333 and we can arrange one for you.
